Returns / Refund / Cancellation Policy

This Returns / Refund / Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs how The Good OBGYN handles returns, refunds, and cancellations for any products and services offered via our website or in-clinic. By purchasing or booking any goods or services with us, you accept and agree to this Policy.

1. Applicability & Scope

  • This Policy applies to physical products (e.g. medical devices, kits, books) sold via our eCommerce component, and to services (e.g. consultations, courses, digital products) booked through our site.

     

  • This Policy does not override any regulatory, licensing, or medical practice obligations, or third-party service agreements.

     

  • In case of conflict, applicable UAE laws (e.g. Consumer Protection Law, E-commerce Law) prevail.

     

2. Cancellation by You (Customer)

  • You may request cancellation of a service booking (e.g. consultation, course) without cause up to 48 hours before the scheduled time, unless otherwise stated.

     

  • If cancellation is requested less than 48 hours before the appointment, a cancellation fee or portion of the fee may be retained, depending on how far in advance you cancel.

     

  • To cancel, contact us via email (hello@thegoodobgyn.com) with your booking details.

     

  • Once cancellation is accepted, we will confirm via email and process any eligible refund within 7–14 business days.

     

3. Returns & Refunds for Physical Products / Merchandise

3.1 Eligibility

  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, with original packaging, seals intact, and all labels and documentation included.

     

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days from date of delivery or receipt (unless a longer period is mandated by law).

     

  • Some items, such as personalized products, consumables, or health / hygiene / intimate goods may not be eligible for return unless defective; this will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

     

3.2 Return Process

  1. Submit a return request via email (hello@thegoodobgyn.com) stating your order number, product, reason for return, and photos if relevant.

     

  2. We will provide instructions for return shipment or collection (depending on location).

     

  3. You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we made an error.

     

  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of whether your refund is approved.

     

3.3 Refund Method & Timing

  • Approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used when purchasing.

     

  • Please allow 7–14 business days from the date we approve the return for the funds to reflect in your account.

     

  • Shipping costs, restocking fees (if any), or other deductions may apply, and these will be communicated to you before refunding.

     

4. Refund for Defective or Incorrect Goods / Services

  • If a product is defective, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a refund, repair, replacement, or re-performance of service, in accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law.

     

  • For services performed erroneously or not as agreed, we will offer remedy (reperformance or refund) as appropriate.

     

  • You must notify us of defects or service issues within 7 days after delivery/completion or upon discovery.

     

5. Exceptions & Limitations

  • Personalized, custom, or consumable items (unless defective) may not be returned.

     

  • Products that show clear signs of use, damage by you, missing components, or missing original packaging may not qualify.

     

  • Refunds do not include extra shipping costs paid at purchase unless we explicitly state otherwise.

     

  • Cancellation of digital products or online courses once accessed or downloaded may be limited; check the product’s terms.

     

6. Modifications & Pricing Errors

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or adjust any order, service, or product in case of error in pricing, description, or availability.

     

  • In case of a pricing error, we will notify you and offer to cancel or adjust the order.

     

7. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

  • Under UAE E-commerce law and Consumer Protection regulations, ecommerce providers must communicate clear return, refund, and cancellation terms.

     

  • Any terms that unreasonably waive consumer rights or are “harmful contractual terms” may be void under the law.

     

  • We commit to refund, repair, replace, or reprovide services when goods or services are flawed or do not match the advertised description.
