This Shipping / Delivery Policy governs how The Good OBGYN ships physical goods sold via our website. It explains your delivery options, timelines, fees, and what to expect. By placing an order, you accept these terms.
1. Order Processing
- All orders are processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and UAE public holidays.
- Orders placed after our daily cutoff time (e.g. 3:00 PM) may be processed on the following business day.
- We will notify you via email once your order is dispatched, including tracking information (if available).
2. Domestic Delivery (Within UAE)
- We deliver to all Emirates in the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain).
- Typical delivery times:
- Within Dubai / nearby zones: 2–4 business days
- Other Emirates: 3–5 business days
- Within Dubai / nearby zones: 2–4 business days
- These timelines are estimates and may vary depending on logistical constraints or high order volume.
- In free-zone areas or special zones (e.g. Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai Airport Free Zone), additional customs or handling processes may apply, which could delay delivery. Any extra charges or procedures will be communicated to you in advance.
3. International Delivery (If Applicable)
- If we support international shipping, the estimated delivery times will vary by destination country. Orders may take 7–21 business days or more, depending on customs, import clearance, and shipping methods.
- You are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes applicable in your country.
- We will provide a commercial invoice and necessary documentation to assist in customs clearance.
4. Shipping Fees & Free Delivery Thresholds
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, based on destination, weight, and shipping method.
- For orders above a certain value (e.g. AED 2,000), we may offer free domestic delivery (or as per your logistics plan).
- In case of shipments to remote or free-zone areas, extra fees may apply. We’ll notify you before finalizing the order.
5. Tracking & Notifications
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking number and courier link.
- You can track your package via the courier’s website or via your account on our site.
- If your package appears to be delayed or “stuck,” contact us at hello@thegoodobgyn.com and we will investigate.
6. Delays, Lost Packages & Force Majeure
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, transportation issues, customs clearance, holidays, or pandemics.
- If your order is lost in transit or does not arrive within the expected window, notify us and we will work with the courier to locate or replace it.
- We are not liable for loss or damage once the package has been handed to the courier, except in cases of our negligence or breach.
- In case of extreme circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, shipping bans), we may suspend or delay shipments, with notice to customers.
7. Undelivered or Refused Packages
- If a package is returned to us (e.g. due to wrong address or refusal), we may charge you the cost of return shipping or reshipment if applicable.
- You must provide correct and complete address details when placing orders. We are not responsible for packages lost due to inaccurate addresses or missing recipient information.
8. Packaging & Handling
- We package items carefully to protect them during transit, using suitable boxes, padding, and sealing.
- Fragile items may receive extra internal protection.
- If items arrive damaged, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery and send photos; we will initiate a claims process with the courier and arrange replacement or refund for eligible cases.
9. Customs, Duties & Taxes
- For international shipments, customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
- In UAE domestic shipping for goods from outside, duties are calculated based on Cost, Insurance & Freight (CIF), typically at ~5% import duty + 5% VAT, depending on product category and value thresholds.
- Free-zone imports may also require relevant customs documentation, which will be discussed with you if applicable.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this Shipping / Delivery Policy over time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Continued orders after changes imply acceptance of the updated terms.
